Hunting

In order to conserve our game and provide the best possible hunting experience and safety for all, we restrict hunters to those who stay at our beautifully restored rustic yet luxurious 19th century guesthouse. As a recipient of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Outstanding Land Stewardship Award "In Recognition of Outstanding Efforts in the Conservation and Enhancement of Wildlife Habitat in Texas". We take pride in our intentional management of the 706 acre ranch to attract and enhance the proliferation of deer, dove, quail, geese, duck, turkey, hog and other wildlife. We have cut senderos (wide paths) through the brush in order to provide both the cover and the grazing areas that wildlife seek. We have located our 8 blinds, each near its own water hole and feeder, and have planted extensive feed plots to further attract deer and bobwhite. Hunting is an extra charge per gun per day.
 

Fishing

We stock several of our ponds with bass and catfish. You and your children may fish from the banks - or use our canoe to venture into the middle of our largest pond.
